I’m not sure why it didn’t occur to me …

When the kids grow up and leave home, you find yourself looking for things to do. We went nomad for awhile, and now we're working on homesteading...

Solar Power - Lets us work with our computers anywhere there's sun.
Cooking - We use a combination of solar cooking and a small propane camp stove.
Income - Is from freelance online writing, websites and photography.
Fixed Expenses - $654 per month as of March 2010, plus about $500 for food & misc :)
Goals: Sustainable Living - to be as completely self sustainable as possible on 7 acres of land near Tucson Arizona.
