Testing OneNote as a Blogging Tool

So this is my test. Assuming it works out ok even with a suitably sized post, I could see myself really enjoying this. With this setup I can write to my heart’s content and then post to the site with minimal need for editing. So, let’s review what I’m up too…

  1. I’m writing this content by hand in Microsoft One Note. I have a tablet PC and can write directly on the screen using a digital pen, or stylus.
  2.

  3. When I’m done, I’ll use the “Send to Blog” button in One Note.
  4.

  5. That opens the MS Word blog editor and automatically translates my writing to typed content. From there I can edit mistakes if there are any, and insert a picture of my written page.

Then of course comes the real test. publishing to my website. we’ll see how that part works shortly.
