This is a deep burgundy red jacquard upholstery or drapery fabric that has a silky/satiny texture and a tonal abstract wave design on it. This listing is for one pre-cut yard (36 inches) that is 50 inches wide...This comes from one of several large unmarked bolts of upholstery fabric I found tucked away at an estate sale. Since they were unmarked, I do not know the fiber content, manufacturer or designer names, nor what year this was actually produced...I hand washed a test piece and the color bleeds. It also wrinkled quite a bit. I would suggest dry cleaning if possible, otherwise wash in cold water with like colors and dry it flat...This is beautiful medium to heavyweight fabric that's ideal for making decorative pillows, formal curtains and drapes, purse linings, chair cushions or covers, and other handiworks that would benefit from the rich texture and color..
